My name is Chris Foisey and I am a PADI AmbasaDiver and professional
Scuba Instructor in Ontario, Canada. I am a certified Cave Diver and Technical Decompression Diver with over 10 years of educating divers, maintaining and selling of modern-day scuba equipment.
My adventures have taken me all over the world including deep cold water lakes to see 200 year old shipwrecks in Canada, to warm tropical waters to see breathtaking reefs in Egypt as well as descending into the dark depths of under water caves in Florida. My adventures have also taken me to Mexico, Micronesia, Dominican Republic, Cuba, The Bahamas and multiple locations throughout the United States of America.
I am active on social media to share my love of diving, highlight new tips, equipment and help today's Modern Diver's enter the world of Scuba.

Modern Diver offers a variety of classes exclusively through the most progressive dive shop in Canada, Dans Dive Shop. With over 45 years in diving, they have provided professional training to divers of all levels. Learn to dive the Great Lakes with the ones who know it best! At DDS we are known for offering the highest level of scuba diving education at every single level of training we offer.
We teach many of our scuba diving courses locally in Niagara, however, we also teach abroad anywhere our students want us to be, which includes other cities, provinces, states and even countries.
ADVANCED LEVEL COURSES
Since 1996 our technical diving course graduates have graced the water with more finesse, ability and experience than the vast majority of technical divers worldwide regardless of agency or instructor. Our Divers are the most well rounded divers you’ll find above and below the water, possessing higher skill and abilities, a great sense of team diving values, pride, compassion and a willingness to help mentor newer divers.
